The piece of jewelry consists of a large neoclassical fountain pen and a base made of obsidian The body and cap of the fountain pen are made of rock crystal with gold-plated bronze embellishments The base is carved from brown tiger's eye What makes the whole set so special are the two crowns at the top and bottom The top crown consists of two 1. The top crown consists of two 1.5 mm diamonds around the cross, eight 15 mm rubies and thirty-two 1.0 mm rubies. The lower crown has four 1.5 mm rubies, all in the shape of bees.
